Hello random blog reader!
First, thank you for stopping by my website. It's nice to know that this isn't going to be a dead site because of readers like you! So, thank you!
Since this is my first blog, I would go into a huge introduction for myself. However, I just finished sprucing up my "about" tab up at the top of this site. So, if you'd like to know more about me, check it all out there. After reading it, if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. If you're technologically awesome, I'm sure you know how to use the tabs above to contact me. Pretty easy, right?
Well! Why don't I start by telling you guys about my first Meet and Greet with the Tucson Umbrella Corporation Hive? We met at six o' clock this evening at Firehouse Subs. I've never been there before nor have I eaten anything there (still haven't). The meeting started once the boss man for Tucson arrived with official paperwork, wanting to get hard copies with our signatures. Things talked about on the agenda were upcoming events, strictness of uniform/dress code at conventions/events, random talk about scary movies, and then weapons.
Might I say that the thing that we talked about that got me the most excited was that our group is affiliated with The Slaughterhouse here in Tucson! Apparently, our group is part of the acting cast in the Zombie Apocalypse Experience! As much as I love horror movies and zombies, I know I will probably freak out when I become part of this. Obviously, I won't be able to dress up as Ada Wong for this. Especially if certain articles of clothing will be ripped on accident. I'm going to have to start saving up to buy some actual tactical gear that can withstand abuse for this. I love the fall season! I love Halloween! And this event just made it even more enjoyable!
I can't wait to participate more in the Tucson events. As much as I love going up to Phoenix for the events up there (and I get to see my boyfriend while I'm there), it takes a lot of gas, time, and money (hotels and such). Not saying I'm going to stop going to Phoenix events! I'm just saying if it's not a big event in Phoenix, then I'll probably just stay in Tucson and attend an event here for the Tucson Hive instead.
Julian, another Hive member, directed me to a website called Evike.com. I want to save enough money to get an official looking S.T.A.R.S. pistol. I don't even care that it's not a gun Ada uses. It looks cool and I want it! We'll see. Someday, maybe. They start at $100 and go up from there.
Anyways, it's getting late. 11:10 p.m. and I have church to attend in the morning. Thank you for reading my first blog entry here! It really means a lot. Have a great night/day!
Love,
"Ada"
